Dr. Zuleika Javed obtained her DDS degree from the UNC School of Dentistry in 2012. After working for a short period in Wilmington, she married her classmate and co-owner of Serene Dental Spa, Dr. Andrew Tran. Following years of experience as an associate dentist for multiple dental practices, Dr. Javed and her husband decided to start their own dental practice in Weddington near Waxhaw and Wesley Chapel.
Dr. Javed’s vision of exceptional dental care offers a distinctive departure from a typical dental office. From the spa-esque décor and soothing music to the inviting, tranquil ambiance, patients can feel comfortable and relaxed while receiving their desired dental care.
“We desire to bring a personal touch back to the dental field. Every patient should feel like a guest,” says the soft-spoken dentist.
Dr. Javed spent her childhood and education in Raleigh. She completed her Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology and Biochemistry at NC State University in Raleigh.
Her contribution to the community extends to spending time in volunteer activities, such as Mission of Mercy clinics, and joining the team to organize and plan multiple charity events. She also helped undergraduate students prepare for their pursuit of professional schools.
She enjoys spending time with her family, friends, and three dogs (Mocha, Latte, and Punk). Dr. Javed loves staying active with her husband, whether during an outdoor activity or at their local gym. Her second passion is traveling, and whenever she returns, she tells exciting stories about her trips.
Dr. Tran spent his childhood and education in Charlotte, NC. After graduating from Providence High School, he attended UNC Charlotte, earning his Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry and Biology. He obtained his DDS degree at the UNC School of Dentistry in 2012, where he also met Dr. Zuleika Javed, who he married in 2013.
Dr. Tran worked as an associate dentist for various dental practices before establishing Serene Dental Spa alongside his wife, Dr. Javed.
“Our office will hopefully remove the anxieties you have of the dentist by not only providing a spa environment and caring faces but also the convenience of massage therapy and nail services at our nail boutique,” he noted enthusiastically.
When Dr. Tran is not spending time mentoring kids at his youth group or volunteering at the Mission of Mercy clinic, he enjoys spending time with family and friends. Dr. Tran is a self-proclaimed foodie and loves everything regarding food, be it the Food Network, restaurants, cooking, recipes, and eating.
His hobbies and interests include Ultimate Frisbee, exercising, playing with his three dogs (Mocha, Latte, and Punk), seeing movies, and riding motorcycles.

Mallori Watson is a Mississippi native who has traveled the world but is proudly a Southern girl at heart. She loves building relationships with her patients and putting them at ease with a gentle chair side manner. In a field where many have fears and phobias she values the opportunity to create positive experiences for her patients.
Dr. Watson received her undergraduate degree in Biological Sciences from the University of Southern Mississippi and then pursued her dental degree at the University of Mississippi (“Ole Miss”), where she took on leadership roles in various student organizations. She received further dental training at The Ohio State University during her general practice residency. Since relocating, she has previously assisted in supervising UNC dental students as adjunct faculty during their rotations. Dr. Watson is an avid learner and yearly exceeds state requirements for continuing education as she strives to provide the best care for her patients. She is a member of the American Academy for Cosmetic Dentistry and the Academy of General Dentistry.
Dr. Watson has been very involved in volunteer work and mission trips. She has completed mission trips in Panama, the Dominican Republic, Italy and Ecuador. Through her volunteer work she has also learned to speak Spanish as well.
When not in the office Dr. Watson is likely pursuing hobbies such as traveling, volunteering, baking, photography, roller skating, latin dancing and spending time with her family.
